What belongs here
Edge systems live with intermittent networks, finite batteries, imperfect sensors, and people who behave in wonderfully unpredictable ways. The most useful engineering work often happens between disciplines: networking and controls, product design and observability, machine learning and systems safety.
These notes focus on those boundaries. They favor clear constraints, measurable behavior, and systems that fail in understandable ways.
